Doorgacharun Sunil Luchmun is the Head and founder of DSL Chambers. He was sworn in as an Attorney-at-Law in 1992 and has been a member of the Mauritian Law Society ever since, where he has also been elected as an Executive Member.

He has a wealth of over 30 years of experience providing advisory and litigation services extending to civil, corporate, banking Commercial, insolvency and maritime law.

He is also abundantly involved in arbitration and mediation.

Called to the Mauritian Bar in 2013, Sandilen Calliapen has emerged as one of the most promising young Barristers in Mauritius. He has appeared before the highest instances in Mauritius including the landmark case of Leclezio v Bissett which dealt with the administrative powers of the Master & Registrar. He has also appeared before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.

He lectures for the Bar Vocational Exams for prospective Barristers, Attorneys and Notaries in Mauritius.

His area of expertise includes civil law, employment law and criminal law. He has advised many governmental institutions like the Rose Belle Sugar Estate and the Sugar Insurance Fund Board.

Arvin Luchmun holds an LLB, LLM Int Trade Law and has 10 years standing at the Mauritius Bar. He also lectures a range of modules at University of Middlesex Mauritius on the LLB and LLM law programmes.

Vimal Rajkoomar read law at London South Bank University and pursued his Bar Professional Training(BPTC) at Manchester Metropolitain University.

He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2011 and became a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple. After completing his pupillage at Benoit Chambers and Hawoldar Chambers, he was admitted to the Mauritian Bar in 2013 and has been practising member of the Mauritian Bar Association since then.

He is a practising Barrister of over 10 years of experience and is involved in litigation and advisory works in relation to Criminal, Civil, Family, Employment and Corporate Law. He appears regularly before all Courts, Tribunals and Regulatory bodies in Mauritius.

He is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Mauritius and an approved trainer of the Financial Services Institute(FSI) specialising in financial crimes and risk assessment. He is also very dedicated to social justice and animal rights.

Ashley Gungla holds an LLB (Hons) from the City University of London and pursued his Bar Professional Training at the City Law School (previously known as the Inns of Court School of Law) based in London. He was called to the bar of England and Wales in 2016 and became a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn. He was admitted to the Mauritian Bar in 2017 and has been a member of the Mauritius Bar Association since then.

He also has experience in the banking sector having worked at a local bank where he advised on compliance and regulatory matters both at a national and International level.

He is also a practising Barrister involved in both litigation and advisory works in relation to criminal, civil and corporate law. He routinely appears before the Supreme Court, the Intermediate Court and the District Courts as well as tribunals and regulatory bodies. He chairs several committees on an ad hoc basis and is also involved in alternative dispute resolution.

Ivishrao Bhikoo completed his Bachelor of Laws with Honours at the University of Bristol in 2013. He completed his Bar Professional Training Course at the University of Law, London and he was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn in 2015. He was admitted to the Mauritian Bar in 2017 and has been a member of the Mauritius Bar Association since then.

He practised at Baboolall Chambers following his Call to the Bar in Mauritius and joined us in June 2022.
He specialises in advising and assisting clients in criminal matters, and is particularly interested in related areas of corporate law. He is a practising Barrister who is also engaged on civil litigation matters and family law.

Rishi Dev Sohan has a degree in Information Technology from the University of Mauritius and completed his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at University of London in 2017.

He completed his Bar Professional Training Course at the University of Cardiff, Wales and he was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of Middle Temple's Inn in 2021. He was admitted to the Mauritian Bar in 2022 and has been a Member of the Mauritius Bar Association since then.

He worked as a Network and Security Engineer for more than 10 Years until he transitioned to the legal field and joined DSL Chambers in February 2023. He specialises in advising and assisting clients in criminal matters as well as civil litigation. He is a practicing barrister who is also engaged in family matters and employment law.

Priyal Lakshmi Bissessur pursued her LLB at the University of Central Lancashire, Mauritius and undertook the Bar Practice Course (BPC) at the University of Law, London.
